Lovely Karen

Karen is the one who wishes she was here -- who should be here. She's the generous one; the one who's first to help; last to leave. Appreciatively called "St. Karen" behind her back by our friends, once she learned I had an opportunity to volunteer to come, there was no question whether I'd come.

Here is Karen on top of the Duomo, Florence last summer. It's not paradise but you can see it from there. The handsome young man, and believe you me he knows it, standing next to her is Peter; our second born.
