Little Miracles?

Mrs. Charles Vincent first lost her mother and then her husband. A week later Rita hit. And like so many others, she fled her home. When she returned, her lovely 200 year old family farm was in shambles including this old barn. Preoccupied with more pressing matters, she ignored the barn until neighbors and strangers began to drop by and ask about the cross standing among the wreckage. Folks wanted to thank her for the gesture. But strangely, Mrs. Vincent had not placed the cross. It alone had withstood the wind as the barn had collapsed around it.

I find it unimaginably sweet that passerbys in need of inspiration these last weeks have found some here.
